Materials — Trex Composite
Trex Composite Decking
Trex is the most recognized name in composite decking, with a proven performance record at residential and commercial scale. Deckmasters has large-scale Trex installation experience, including a commercial boardwalk project approaching $2 million in construction value.
Trex at Scale
Trex composite decking is a wood-plastic composite product — a blend of wood fiber and recycled plastic that delivers the appearance of natural wood with significantly lower maintenance requirements. Trex has been the dominant composite decking brand for decades, and its product line has evolved substantially in that time.
Deckmasters' experience with Trex extends to large commercial applications. Our team has completed a roughly 1.5-mile commercial boardwalk project in Florida using Trex composite decking — a project approaching $2 million in construction value. This is the kind of large-scale Trex experience that most deck contractors simply do not have.
For residential applications, Trex's premium product lines offer sophisticated appearance options and strong performance characteristics. For commercial applications, Trex has a proven track record in demanding environments including boardwalks, resort decking, and high-traffic commercial installations.
Trex Product Lines
Trex offers multiple product lines at different price and performance tiers. For luxury residential and commercial applications, Deckmasters focuses on Trex's premium product offerings, which deliver the best combination of appearance, performance, and warranty coverage.

Commercial Trex Experience
Large commercial Trex installations require experience that goes beyond residential deck construction. Material procurement at scale, structural framing for commercial loads, coordination with engineers and inspectors, and the project management capability to execute a multi-month commercial construction project — Deckmasters has done all of it.
